Vishesh Films forthcoming film will mark the debut of newcomer Tushar Jalota as an actor and also the renowned choreographer Raju Khan as a director. However things didn't go too well between director Raju Khan and producer Mukesh Bhatt.
Much before he became the hot-shot producer he is today, Mukesh Bhatt, younger brother of Mahesh Bhatt, worked as a secretary to the late Smita Patil. After Smita’s demise in 1985He told his elder brother his secret desire of starting a production company. Mahesh was encouraging. That’s how Mukesh launched ‘Vishesh Films’ in 1986. The filmmaker looks back on the progress of his banner with pride.
Every one from the producers to the actors and music composers Lalit Sen was present for the promotion of their forthcoming film except director Raju Khan.It is believed that Mukesh Bhatt wasn't too happy with Mahesh Bhatt's choice of director.
He reveals, "Yes I was quite apprehensive about Raju Khan directing this film. But I decided to go with my brother's instincts. Sometimes people make mistakes by choosing wrong people.
It is believed that Raju Khan did not complete the film and left it mid-way and that's when Bhatt's favorite Mohit Suri and his assistant Vishal Bhatt came to the rescue. When asked, Mahesh Bhatt confirms "Yes the film was completed by Mohit and Vishal Bhatt as Raju didn't complete the film. There were differences between Mukesh and Raju on account of budget issue.
But producer Mukesh Bhatt has no such intentions. He says "Forget the budget issue; .We are two strong people with different opinions but only Friday will decide the fate of our movie. Raju is an unprofessional man. He stalled my film. He delayed it."
When asked if he will work with Raju Khan again after Showbiz, he replied, "I'll never work with Raju Khan. I'll not recommend him to any one. He is not a good person. He doesn't know his job. He is a choreographer, not a director."
