Madhuri Dixit’s comeback film Aaja Nachle was back in theatres in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh on Sunday after the state authorities decided to give it a green signal following the removal of some controversial lines from the title song.



An official spokesman in Chandigarh said the authorities in Haryana had asked the district magistrates to ensure that the objectionable part in the film’s title number be deleted before public exhibition.
A decision to allow screening of the film was taken by the Punjab Government and a notification in this regard was issued on Sunday.
