Inspiration of Saif Ali Khan from David Beckham's famous Victoria tattoo.

SAIF ALI KHAN born on 16 August 1970 in New Delhi, India. winning an National Film Award winning Indian actor who stars in Bollywood films. He is the son of the Nawab of Pataudi, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, and the actress Sharmila Tagore. His sister is actress Soha Ali Khan.



As a tribute to his three-month-old girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, the actor has now tattooed her name, written in Devnagari, on his left forearm. A reliable source close to the actor informs, "He has been toying with the idea of getting the Kareena tattoo for a while now.

Saif Ali Khan was born into the family of the Nawabs of Pataudi. His grandfather, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi.His father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudiwas not only the Nawab of Pataudi but also a former captain of the Indian cricket team. His mother, Sharmila Tagore, is a Bengali Indian film actress,head of the Indian film censorship board and a relative of the Nobel laureate - Rabindranath Tagore.



He made his Bollywood debut in the 1992 film "Parampara". For his next film "Aashiq Awara" (1993) he won the Filmfare Best Debut Award. His breakthrough role came in 1994 with "Yeh Dillagi" starring opposite Kajol and Akshay Kumar which was his first major hit.Khan went on to star in many films but they failed at the box office. He only had success with multi-starrer hits like Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994)," Kachche Dhaage" (1999) and "Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United" (1999).

After some box office failures he had a hit with the film "Kya Kehna" (2000) his success started from their and still continuing now with his performance in acting career, more or less, went through a relative slump until 2001,, when he was cast in Farhan Akhtar's hit film, "Dil Chahta Hai". He received much acclaim for his role



The tattoo artiste at the Hakim Alim’s studio took almost two hours to complete the design and Saif was seen getting restless as he had to report to Yash Raj Studios for dance rehearsals, claims a source.

Later he was seen flaunting his newly-acquired tattoo but was not too keen to talk about it. A source from the Yash Raj Studios, who did not want to be named, says, "Saif was very happy with his tattoo. He was completely at ease with the attention it attracted."

However, Saif was seen making a conscious effort to hide the tattoo under a jacket when he reported at the Mumbai airport recently along with Kareena, claims another source.
