History is being created in Bollywood right now. Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting the mother of all item songs for Rakesh Roshan’s Krazzy 4 even as Hrithik is getting ready to shoot the same song in mid-February.
Says Hrithik, “Shah Rukh, whose association with my dad goes back to King Uncle and Koila , is the portrait of graciousness. He’s shooting for my dad’s film in Mumbai. When my knee is recovered, I’ll be performing the same song.”
Shah Rukh’s version will be part of the film whereas Hrithik’s will be used only for promotional purposes. “While I’m doing this for my home production, Shah Rukh is going out of his way for us. It just shows how much solidarity actually exists in the industry,” adds Hrithik.
Shah Rukh and Hrithik dancing to the same tune would give rise to comparisons between the two superstars. Hrithik thinks such comparisons can be avoided. “We’ll bring our own body language and style into it. Besides, Shah Rukh doesn’t need to dance, I do,” says the actor in handsome tribute to the Bollywood Badshah.
This, incidentally, is Hrithik’s first item song and Shah Rukh’s second; he had earlier performed for buddy Karan Johar’s Kaal. According to Hrithik, the song composed by his uncle Rajesh Roshan and sung by Vishal (of Vishal-Shekhar) is an amazing dance track. It is choreographed by Ahmed Khan. “I’m sure Shah Rukh and I are going to have fun performing this number,” says Hrithik.

All the efforts have given their results and reportedly, when Kareena appeared wearing the bikini, jaws dropped on the sets. As for her new beau, Saif, he was cool about it and was happy for Kareena, as she has never looked so sexy and hot. Kareena Kapoor as Female lead role Beside Salman Khan in Mr & Mrs.Khan
Once again we can see Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan side by side in Mr. and Mrs. Khan.
Sohail Khan’s next production ‘Mr. & Mrs. Khanna’ has finally settled with Kareena Kapoor as the female lead opposite Salman Khan. The film to be directed by debutant Prem Soni plans to follow the current trend of Bollywood where a host of big stars do cameos out of their mutual friendship.
The little birdie informs that SRK has agreed to do a cameo for the film owing to his friendship with Sallu Bhai. Sohail is also hoping that Salman will be able to help him get Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra and even newcomer Deepika for cameo roles in the film. The shooting for the film is supposed to begin some time in March this year.
Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor have finally broken the ice between them and will now be seen together in the movie Mr & Mrs Khanna. Trouble started between the two during the Rockstar Concert in 2006 when Kareena's then boyfriend.
Shahid Kapoor tried to teach Salman a few dance steps which did not go down well with the actor owing to his seniority. Kareena who was mad in love then sided with her man. Salman was so offended that he pulled out of a special appearance in the Shahid Kareena starer Milenge Milenge.

The incident was amazing at shooting :Sonali Kulkarni
Sonali Kulkarni scene required her to interview a worker and ask of her plight, when a group of hoodlums force them to abandon the interview and get out of there.
While the shot was in progress, one of the actual rice field owners came up and asked the unit to leave the place. In spite of being told that the unit had got the necessary permissions, the owner wouldn’t give up and insisted they get out of there.
This Maharashtrian mulgi is doing well for herself in Bollywod which means her stars in the film world are bright after Mission Kashmir and Dil chahta hai. She's being noticed by filmmakers and given roles she's pleased to essay. Here she traces her journey into filmdom.
The director used his behaviour as a reference point, and asked his actors to behave the way the rice field owner was for the shot. Sonali found the incident pretty amusing. “It was uncanny,” she told us. It happens only in India!
The passion within me keeps me alive. I feel I should work in as many genres and languages as I can. I want to try new things and reach out to the whole world. I have worked hard to get here. I want to enjoy every moment of it.
I was born and brought up in Pune. I went to Abhinav Vidyalaya and was a fairly good student, always scoring 80s and 90s. I come from an academically inclined family - my dad is an engineer and my brothers are academically brilliant. I wanted to study in Ferguson College. I majored in Political Science from there and even got a scholarship in Marathi literature.
Stranger is about the emotional turmoil, mind games and a shockingly devious plot that forms the crux of the emotional thriller starring Jimmy Shergill, Kay Kay Menon, Nandana Sen and Sonali Kulkarni.

Actor-turned-director Aamir Khan Tired and badly needs off Relif.
Bollywood actor-turned-director Aamir Khan, whose directorial debut "Taare Zameen Par" has become a box-office hit, says that he is extremely tired and badly needs to unwind himself.
"My God! The past few months have been quite a ride. And the last month the most exciting, nerve racking, exhausting, rejuvenating, draining, enriching. Am I ever going to recover?" Aamir noted in his blog at www.aamirkhan.com this week.
"I feel like I've been stuffed into a washing machine, which doesn't have an off button. After this I really need to be put out to dry in the sun and left alone. But no such luck. I start shooting for 'Ghajini' on Jan 22," he penned.
"First things first... I have just smoked my last cigarette before sending this post. Yes, I have finally kicked the bad habit! I know I know I can already hear all of you all scream and shout. I was supposed to give up on Dec 31. But I didn't (which is one of the reasons I was avoiding posting).
"Second step: get back to sleeping early. Third: work out religiously.Fourth: get back on my healthy diet. Fifth: just stick to the above four for a while before taking the fifth step," he explained.
And while the actor shoots for "Ghajini" his to-do list includes: Work on the DVD of 'Taare...', work on the release plan of 'Jaane Tu...', Aamir Khan Production's next release, supervise preparations on 'Delhi Belly,' which starts shoot in March.
"Start preparation work on the other one that Aamir Khan Production is producing later this year yet untitled. Make innovations and progress on this site. Clean my study and my cupboard. So much junk has piled up in my rooms. Everyday I look at the mess and promise myself I'll get down to it at some point."
"In the meantime let us celebrate India's win over Australia. What a glorious win! Sweet and well deserved. We would have won the earlier test as well had it not been for remarkably bad luck with the umpiring.
"The victory is the more satisfying because we beat a team, which is unfortunately very arrogant and decidedly badly behaved on the cricket field. Incidentally, Aamir, a more-than-decent tennis player and admirer of Swiss tennis player Roger Federer, said that cricketers must take a lesson from tennis players.
"My sincere apologies to any fans of Australian cricket but I fail to understand why arguably the best team in the world has to behave so badly on the field. Or why this team feels the need to use excessively aggressive heckling to try and win a match. Can't they just play better?"
"I don't see Federer or (Andy) Roddick misbehaving with each other or anyone. I wish the Indian team didn't get influenced by the childish display and respond in kind. We should just quietly play better and win... or lose, as the case may be. But play with dignity."

Bollywood's Sexy and Vaterian Actress Zeenat Aman
It may sound strange but the 1970s sex symbol and fashion icon Zeenat Aman is a little conventional when it comes to having children. She opted for marriage when she was at the top.
"To me marriage was imperative for motherhood. In a society, I could never impose my own morality on my children. I think it's very wrong to be an unwed mother. You give your child the stigma of illegitimacy," Zeenat told IANSn in an interview.
"I desperately wanted to be a mother. I had no siblings. I was the only child. After 15 years in the movie business, I was ready to have my own family. And to have a family, you have to be married," the actress said.
The lissom Zeenat made a faltering start with "Hare Rama Hare Krishna" and later became the oomph girl of Bollywood with her skin show on screen.
"Her life is full. I'm so happy for the gift of each day. When I walk into the house, my dogs bathe me in such a warm welcome. That'd all I need."
Why isn't she seen on screen more often? "Honestly, I'm not offered anything substantial. The past years of my life have been devoted to my two sons. But now that they're growing up, I'm open to appropriate roles. But nobody is knocking my door down."
However, she is happy with her two sons Azaan, who is 21 and studying direction in Britain, and Zahaan, 17.
Entire nation continues to have a fans of me It's such a wonderful thing to hear, thank you very much Honestly, I have not been offered anything substantial. The past years of my life have been devoted to my two sons.
I've been so immersed in the task of being a single parent that I haven't really given anything else a serious thought. Raising my sons has been my only priority. But now that they're growing up, I'm open to roles. But nobody is knocking my door down (laughs heartily)

Importance of our awards is Credibility : Ekta
Credibility of celebrities who give away the first-ever awards of Balaji Telefilms on Feb 1 is important for its head Ekta Kapoor. That is why she has requested Shah Rukh Khan to perform at the gala event.
"We wanted people with a name and reputation to give these awards. For our awards, credibility is most important. And I want that quality to be attached even to those who give awards. Then there's the glamour and flamboyance," Ekta told IANS.
The show's highlights are Lots of performances by the biggies including Shah Rukh Khan who's the biggest of them all. Then there's Lara Dutta performing with Jay Bhanushali and a few other TV stars. We wanted the TV and film stars to co-exist on the same stage. Then the actors from my brother Tusshar's starrer "Shootout At Lokhandwala" will also perform.
The awards are credible and we've tried to make sure that the awards are given by people who matter to the entertainment industry. We wanted people with a name and reputation to give these awards. For our awards, credibility is the most important. And I want that quality to be attached even to those who give awards.
Then there's the glamour and flamboyance. My mother has made sure we've the best of the film industry at the function. But you never know until the 'D' day who will be there.
The grand finale will have Shah Rukh Khan performing with 11 girls. We're very fortunate to have him on our show. He agreed to be on the show because our families have known one another. I've known his wife Gauri for years. That helped. Also the Moranis (Morani brothers of Cineyug) spoke to him.
Most important of all, Shah Rukh doesn't look down on television. He started on television and has constantly been part of the medium right up to KBC. When we approached him, he knew the Balaji banner would ensure him a proper platform.
It's been a whole new experience. My mother has been working without sleep. She and my secretary Chloe have put in more than anyone else. I don't care if people criticise the awards. I've lived with criticism. But for my mother's sake, I want the awards function to work. I know how much it means to her.

Bollywood actresses Prefering action-oriented roles.
Deepika told IANS that"The trend of more heroines taking up action roles itself shows that with the evolution of the Hindi film industry, women are getting to do more in films than just dance around trees,"
Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif or Koena Mitra, heroines are no longer content with just dancing around trees or singing in the rain. Instead, they are in a bid to compete with action heroes.
Said actor Ajay Devgan: "Heroines are as strong as heroes. Deepika is all set to give a heady rush of adrenaline to audiences with action scenes in Nikhil Advani's "Chandni Chowk To China" opposite Akshay Kumar.
Viewers will also soon see Priyanka Chopra doing heavy-duty action in "Love Story 2050", Aishwarya swinging the sword in the historical epic "Jodhaa-Akbar" . Koena playing a superwoman in "Karna".
Sushmita Sen gave an action packed performance in "Samay" and Esha Deol's and Aishwarya's racy acts proved a crowd puller for "Dhoom" and "Dhoom 2" respectively.
Also, Priyanka and Soha Ali Khan had action scenes in "Krrish" and "Khoya Khoya Chand" respectively, while Esha, Dia Mirza and Shamita Shetty did some stunts in "Cash".
Commenting on the trend, Amrita Rao said: "I would love to do an action flick. In fact I find myself fortunate that I entered the film industry during a phase when actresses are doing so much and have longer terms.
However, in the 1930s and 40s, Bollywood heroines did have important roles in action films. Indian cinema at that time saw Mary Evans, fondly called Fearless Nadia, tossing the myth of the docile heroine into air.
Riding a horse with a whip in hand, fencing with villains atop running trains, swinging from chandeliers and doing stunts without resorting to stuntmen, Nadia's films "Hunterwali", "Pahadi Kanya", "Miss Frontier Mail", "Lutaru Lalna", "Punjab Mail", "Diamond Queen", "Bombaiwali, Jungle Princess" and "Hunterwali ki Beti" ran houseful.
Director and actor Rajat Kapoor said: "It is nothing new. After every 20 years, trends comes back. According to me, today the trend of actresses doing more action in films is more related to fitness.
"It is no doubt great but as far as the ornamental role of women is concerned I feel no progress is happening".

3) His Introduction in Mohabbatein as Narayan Shankar.
Son of well known poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan. He has a brother named Ajitabh Bachchan . He completed his education from Uttar Pradesh and moved to Bombay to find work as a film star, in vain though, as film-makers preferred someone with a fairer skin, and he was not quite fair enough. But they did use one of his other assets - his deep baritone voice - which was used for narration and background commentary. He was successful in being cast in Saat Hindustani. He got his break in Bollywood after a letter of introduction from the then Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi, as he was a friend of her son Rajiv Gandhi.
This is how Amitabh made an entry in Bollywood, starting with Zanjeer, co-starred with his future wife-to-be Jaya Bhaduri, and since then there has been no looking back. He married Jaya Bhaduri, an actress in her own rights, he has two kids, Shweta and Abhishek. Shweta has been married, lives a non-filmy life and has a child. Being friends with Rajiv Gandhi, got him to decide to run for seat in the Congress from his hometown but had to leave midterm because of controversies, particularly after Rajiv and he were implicated in the now infamous "Bofors" case along with the U.K. based Hinduja Brothers
Amitabh Bachan has appeared in over 130 films, many of them, particularly those from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s, were huge hits. Every hit, bringing him closer to the masses. Because he portrayed the Man from every walk of life. The honest and the bold Police officer, the shy Lover, the angry and disappointed Youth, the Mine worker, the Singer, the Porter, the Waiter, the freedom fighter, the Politician fighting against corruption, and the list is endless. He was the people's own representative. Their Messiah.
This became evident after his legendary accident during the filming of the movie, "Coolie". He had almost bid farewell to the mortal world, if not for the wishes and prayers of the millions of those masses. Many, who actually went through physical penance, for the recovery of their Hero. It was as if their life had come to a standstill, till he emerged, out of his Coma.
He had gone into hibernation from films for a few years when he ventured into politics, to lend support to his friend, Rajiv Gandhi. Amitabh Bachan fought and won the election for the Parliament from his hometown, Allahabad in 1984, but within a short span of time he had to 'call it quits', due to some bitter experiences. After this, the legend sported a beard, flaunted his grey hair and floated his company ABCL. Not finding much success in that and on the contrary, incurring huge losses, he finally returned to the silver screen. During this period, he did his best in some not so successful films, but his mighty comeback was with the Indian version of the hit BBC show, "Millionaire", "Kaun Banega Crorepati" in Star Plus. This show not just proved the veteran's skills of being a unique and fabulous host, but also brought him back to the hearts of his people. This time, even coser. To their living room. The Big B was back with a Big Bang. Many such shows followed in the rival channels, but none could even get close to the show of the King. KBC had become a part of people's lifestyle.Their routine for four days a week. Where else would they get more time with to spend time with the star and if persistent, some even got to be at the show sitting face to face, with 'their' Amitabh, in flesh and blood.

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in Manali full snow shooting for "Shoe Bite".
Manali (Himachal Pradesh),Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is presently in this picturesque tourist resort shooting for Sujit Sircar's "Shoe Bite". Bachchan arrived here late Tuesday by road from Chandigarh, as his plane could not land due to bad weather in Kullu Monday.
We have been providing you exclusive news about megastar Amitabh Bachchan's latest project, being produced by a top corporate house, based mainly in Himachal Pradesh. And here's more in the same series!
As the weather has somewhat improved in Kullu-Manali, the makers have decided to stick to the original schedule, which consisted of a week's shooting in Manali and later in the HP capital, Shimla.
In fact the shooting of the Shoojit Sircar (YAHAAN fame) directed film, SHOEBITE (working title), commenced in Manali on Monday itself. On the first day, Amitabh Bachchan's duplicate shot a few sequences on the banks of the Beas River, at a place called Patlikuhal, 15 miles before Manali.
It was rather amusing to see a lot of tourists as well as locals confusing Bachchan's duplicate with the original! And soon a huge crowd gathered at the site of the shooting location.
While on the original, Amitabh Bachchan was expected in Manali on Monday, but stayed back in Chandigarh for a day. He arrived in Manali on Tuesday and checked in at the Span Resorts, which is nearer to the shooting location, instead of Holiday Inn. As per the manager of the resort, Bachchan's room has been booked till 26th January (Republic Day) and after that he will proceed to Shimla.
The resort town of Manali received heavy snowfall this year and sources said Sircar has short-listed a host of locations here to shoot for the film. Actor Diya Mirza is also joining the unit in a couple of days, the sources said.
According to hotel sources, Bachchan is scheduled to stay for five days in and around Manali and then move to the Himachal Pradesh capital Shimla, 280 km away, for more shooting of the same film.

Amisha Patel has reportedly broken off from her boyfriend Vikram Bhatt
Amisha Patel has reportedly broken off from her longtime boyfriend Vikram Bhatt . The split happened last month because of reasons not clearly known.
Amisha Patel (born 9 June ) is an Indian actress who works in Bollywood movies. She was born in Mumbai. Film star Amisha Patel would not have been involved in the ugly fracas at the Sahar airport recently had she been a little more aware of her illustrious heritage.
Her grandmother is Sushila Gokhale Patel, who was a leading figure in the progressive movement in the sixties and a handicraft artiste. She is known for her portrayal of the history of the freedom struggle through hand-made doll-sized figures, now part of the museum Mani Bhavan.
But if rumours are to be believed, there is a new man in Amisha’s life. He is London-based businessman, Kanav Puri, whom Amisha met at a function in Delhi. It was Amisha’s growing closeness to Kanav that reportedly created the rift in her four-year-long relationship with Vikram. Amisha has moved out of Vikram’s Andheri residence and is learnt to be staying with a friend nowadays. This split between Amisha and Vikram has made her estranged parents very happy.
They never approved of Amisha’s relation with Bhatt. As for Amisha, her Bollywood career is presently on the rise again. She is working in director Kunal Kohli’s next film along with Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee .

Bollywood actors are paying most of their money on taxes
Bollywood actors are paying most of their money on taxes. It is because of them that so much of money is going into our treasury and that is really good for us. But wonder if the government is making good use of it.
Here is a list of our top Bollywood tax payers.
Top individual advance income taxpayers in Bollywood of 2007-2008 till December 31.
Shah Rukh Khan-27 Rs crore:Om Shanti Om and Chak De India, besides money earned from advertisements have enabled him to contribute so much.
Akshay Kumar- Rs 7 crore:Consecutive hits like Bhool Bhulaiya and Welcome have really added to the stunt man’s purse.
Abhishek Bachchan- Rs 3.7 crore Not many releases this year caused him to pay so less this time. Also, the man was busy with his newly wedded wife.
Aamir Khan-Rs 3 crore: Last year he paid around 6 crore. This time it has become half the amount. Tax collectors however, are rejoicing with Taare Zameen Par’s success. TZP has been a hit at the box office which is real good news for the treasuery.
Himesh Reshammiya-Rs 2.5 crore: With more singing contracts in hand even his Tax payment has increased.
Amitabh Bachan :-Rs 1.8 crore:Well this is actually surprising. Big B seems to be in almost all the movies and he is paying so less. Tax officials please look nto the matter.
Working hard and shedding out in crores is painful sometimes especially for these actors.
Everything has its price, including stardom.

Director Roy looking to release an Hindi version of a Bengali film
Director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury is looking to release an Hindi version of his debut Bengali film “Anuranan” this Friday.
Roy told IANS that“Although ‘Anuranan’ is a culture-specific film, the theme is universal. And why should anyone have any objection to a Bengali film getting a national market? I think the only other Bengali film to have made this transition is Rituparno Ghosh’s ‘Chokher Bali’,” .
Rahul Bose and Rituparna Sengupta play a couple that moves back to Kolkata after living in London for a few years. Here they meet Rajat Kapoor and Raima Sen and they become friends. It is the lives of these four friends that create a resonance, a chord that echoes through their present and future.
“Yes it was,” admits the director. “But the theatrical and DVD releases were only in Bengali. The dubbing into Hindi was done with my active participation. In fact, linguistically I had say the Hindi version is more authentic than Bengali.
“In Bengali, Rajat Kapoor’s voice was dubbed by another artiste. In Hindi, all the four major artistes - Rahul, Raima, Rituparna and Rajat - have dubbed their lines personally. So I had say I welcome this chance to take my film to a larger audience.”

Bollywood Smarty Salman Khan went for inaguration of his Wax in Madame Tussad Museum.
Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan left for London, early Monday morning, for the unveiling of his wax replica at the prestigious Madame Tussad museum. Bollywood's inimitable and irrepressible bad boy, the actor’s wax figure is worth £ 200,000 (roughly Rs 1.62 crore). He was accompanied by his family, including girlfriend Katrina Kaif.
Those who have seen the statue say that Salman’s wax figure, which took 12 weeks and five artistes to create, has a remarkable resemblance to him. A special wax and silicon-like materials have been used to give the macho star’s six-pack abs and biceps a realistic look. The sculptors worked overtime to develop the accurate shape and size. However, to the disappointment of his fans, the Salman’s wax replica will not be showcased bare-chested.
Madame Tussaud officials also revealed the brawny star’s wax work will be placed in the New Bollywood area along with three other Bollywood superstars- veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, Sallu’s ex flame Aishwarya Rai and his close friend Shah Rukh Khan.
During a recent interview Salman, in his characteristic manner, took a light hearted collective dig at other Bollywood stars who were honored with a wax replica before him. "After Mahatma Gandhi and Indira Gandhi, I think I am the third most deserving in the museum," he joked.
Khan beat nine other Indian stars, including Madhuri Dixit and Abhishek Bachchan, to be immortalised in wax after a public poll was conducted in August last year. Over 10,000 votes were received, and Salman emerged the clear winner.
